I like your posts John. They always get us thinking. For me, the terms infinite and finite only exist as ideas. In this physical universe, instead of infinite, I prefer the term interminable.

Infinite is not a specific measure but an instruction - keep going, or etcetera.

Infinity per-se is beyond comprehension. From any/all individual perspectives, it’s “keep going”.
